Mother’s Day

Yesterday day was Mothers Day,
How could I forget,
While I was celebrating with my mother,
You were missing grandma in heaven,
I'm so sorry she couldn't be here with you on her special day,
No one should be taken like that,
A tragic accident,
A short phone call,
Grandma and grandpa are no longer with us,
Followed by tears and pain,
She was taken from us to soon,
I know she is looking down on you,
How could she not she loved you very much,
I can see her smiling at the flowers you gave her on her grave,
I know she would of hugged you and squeezed you really tight,
I have a feeling she was here with you yesterday,
Because she knows you miss and love her very much,
Even though she is in heaven probably getting after grandpa,
I know she would of wanted you to know you're a good son,
A great Dad,
And a awesome Papa,
So as I write this poem for you dad,
Tears run down my face,
As your daughter I love you very much,
And since grandma can't speak,
I hope this will speak for her.
