Mother’s Day

Mother I have something to say
Let's begin with me thanking you for such a great day
In fact most my days are great, you're the only one to blame
We have our up and downs, but you're always here to tame
Whichever problem comes in our way

I have some more thanking to do since you are so repairing
Thank you for the caring, the sharing, and most of all the daring
For you are always willing to try something new
Whether for the better, or the next biggest rue
And I can always count on you for everything even though
it can be overbearing

Another thing you must know, is you have my gratitude for certain
things you do
Thanks for taking me to soccer practice and the other things you do
Well Mom, to me you are the perfect portrait of a mother
I can always rely on you no matter how absurd it may be
to you and oh brother
There are many senseless things I do

Well mother I have one final thing to say
I would like to wish you the best Mother's Day
