Mother's Love

For nine months
She felt my growth from within
At times I twisted and turned
The pain was experienced by her alone
Yet she smiled and rubbed her belly
I could feel her warm touch
I could feel her heart beat
My arrival caused her tears
But as she cries because of the pain
My safety was her major concern
In stuttering voice she said; 'I have come too far to give up'
And with a loud scream
She let me out
Smile was all over her face again
Forgetting the unbearable and unbelievable pains she had felt
My feet and hands were weak
My mouth did not know which word to speak
But she understood me
When I needed to eat
She understood me when I was tired of being on my back
She held me in her arms
Singing sweet lullabies
To express my appreciation
I give her a smile
She smiled back and said: I LOVE YOU
And I felt my Mother's Love????
