Mother’s Love

You made me whole a place for my soul,
for your love I would never pay a toll.

When I was little you did what you could,
you loved me more than any person would.

When I was hurt you'd say, let me see,
blowing and kissing right there you would be.

When I was bad you had a better way,
but when I was good you would say, hooray!

When giving advice it was never a demand,
you were always willing to lend a hand.

When I got older our lives grew apart,
but always together inside our heart.

When time passed by and age set in,
you held me tight like when I was ten.

You did this for me and also my brother,
that's why I love you and call you my mother.
