I´m Happy to go back home
It´s been a long but endearing road,
I´ve seen many trials and tribulations and this, to many I´ve told;
It hasn´t been easy and it hasn´t been painful,
Some contradictions, I absolutely adore!
I´ve got my bags packed and my fella´ nicely snuggled in bed,
He knows I´ll be leaving and I know he´s mad;
I see the rainbows and the mist on the mountain range;
I know He´ll be there when I go back home.
In my life, I have weathered many storms;
And I´m glad to go back to my summer home
A home where the bright rays of the sun warm my soul;
And jubilant folks dance around merrily with St. Paul.
Oh Boy, I´m happy to go back home!
