Mrs. Jones

Mrs. Jones was a beautiful woman
Married twenty years
The clock strikes five
Mr. Jones comes home
And has many beers

After the sixth
He raises his fists
Slap. smack. whack
Mrs. Jones's bones begin to crack

Shouting and crying
Neighbors walk by #216
Ignoring the screams
Of Mrs. Jones dying

With an overhang right
Comes the fatal blow to her right cheek
On that frightful night
Mr. Jones put his wife six feet deep
