Music from a dark soul

I hear strange songs playing close to my heart
with an unusual vocal range and an unknown part
A melody of pure evil, ritual and blood
and of the breath of demons held in a single chord
Sweet and enticing as jezebel’s seduction
Stealing away my soul as of one silent abduction

On this night am I lost to the euphony of darkness,
that I may live, an outlaw and every law, transgress.
For this harmony of Lucifer’s tune have I fallen for,
and the music of good deeds do my heart abhor.
For my soul is lost in the maze of Old Nick’s staff,
and this music, I pray, play its lyrics on my epitaph,
when my soul is lost in the music of the silent night
and with the devil, in hell’s grand-ball, reunite.
