Noble mustang on the range
Draped in sunset red and gold
Sired of ancient Arabia
A Spanish stallion's foal

You speak to me of freedom
Of heart as big as sky
Racing with the desert wind
The earth thunders as you go by

We who live in cities
Safe they say behind locked doors
Can only gaze in wonder
At life, such a life, as yours
