My Angel in Black

What a beautiful nightmarish dream
A breath-taking angel in black
And the things that she sings
A voice so heavenly, you'd be taken aback

She spins stories on her fingertips
So easily and clean, a spider is envious
Her kisses are toxic from garnet lips
Her beauty makes any goddess jealous

But as gorgeous as she is, my angel can't stay
She arrives and vanishes with the wind's whispers
I love her so, but I suppose come what may
The time together we spent is sweet like candy, but so bitter

My angel in black, my demon in white
Longing for her is such a tragic way to live life
