My Backyard

I award myself, praises my name
Blazing wood, shocking pokes
Sand in waves
harbored by stones
weeds arise
inhabited by pests of kind
My pond a light
So big and new
gently they fall
needles and pine
ripples collide
plants and rocks
birds and rodents
chirping and rustling
lizards scamper
frogs jump
just for me, all for me
