My Bear But Yet My Raven

You have sat and watched me,
From afar for so many years,
Only wishing to have me in your arms,
Whereas now we sit hand in hand,
Smiling through the storms raging around us,
How did we get here?
Only 20 plus years later from the day we met,
Smiling and laughing as if no time has passed.
I sit wondering how I've lived through,
The pains and sorrows that have held me,
Ever so tightly within their grasps for so long,
Without you by my side just to whisper,
In my ear that everything's alright.
Now there is no pain to be felt,
Now there is no sorrow weighting,
At my ever broken heart,
There is a meaning in the air,
A kind of magick within my soul,
All because you have my heart and soul,
Shining through the storms of the world,
As of my safety was your mission.
Strong as a Bear, yet as gentle as a Raven,
You'll fly me away upon your wings,
I'm a magickcal bliss unharmed ever again.
