My sister called and said get out of bed and get on
your knees. Pray like you never have before because
Brother Pete is in need.
I got the floor, praying, screaming and crying out to
God for my brother's fate; hoping to get to the hos-
pital before it was too late.
I begged for God's mercy and grace. All I wanted to
do was to see my brother's precious face.
When we arrived at the hospital late that night, when
I saw the nurses, I knew that something wasn't right.
As we ran to Pete's room with tears of fear, our worst
nightmare was so near. They said "we're sorry he has
passed". I fell to the floor and cried, Oh No Lord!
He can't be gone! but he was lying there all alone.
They say God calls the best home to be with Him. I
believe this to be true. Thus, I will await my turn to
be called home and be reunited with you.
