My Child.

Can I really do this?
Can I really carry this weight on my shoulders?
Such a small, tiny weight.
Yet how heavy it weighs on my heart.
One small mistake.
That's all it would take.
That's all it would take for everything to fall to ruins.
I carried this weight for nine long months.
Now, I look at you in my arms.
So small, so soft, so beautiful.
Like a dream.
Did I really do this?
Tears fall when you smile at me.
I can do this.
I can carry this weight on my shoulders, in my arms and in my heart.
