My Christmas Wish of Night

Should I find my way to pass of sleep
In a comfort known to bed
As my mind drifts away in the deep
Not for your heart to weep of sad
Please know this Holy Night
I trudged this glorious tropical day
All be it in struggle and strife
Home is where I found my way
In prudence my journey has soften in years
Grandeur of Memory to tales of past
The Soul aware of what it fears
I pray my deeds today are not the last
Should I find my way to pass in Divine Light
Surrounded by ornaments of Sparkle and Glib
My Heart & Joy of Life ever so Bright
I Pray my actions to cause no harm to forgive
Witness of time has traveled far too quick
My Freedom in God’s Grace I understand
That my time here has been but a click
To the sound of a spiritual clock by hand
As I lay me down to sleep on this night of Christ
Judge me not too harsh in earthly failure
My purpose here is not to please your devise
But to walk a path of Entry for Eternal price...
