My Daily Prayer

Once upon an argument, an evil presence lie,
As you yell it seems to push you down, so no one hears your cry,
It drowns the faintest whimpers out, as your soul begins to die,
Hope is just about diminished now, your so weak, can't even try.
The pains from all the anger, flying all around your mind,
Beat you down like you are nothing, all you want is to unwind,
A tiny glimpse of happiness, search at lengths but never find,
This is my life set out for me, no releasing me from my bind.
