My Dance

A tune of my own I dance my way,
Music heard only with ears
Made to hear.
Life's dance joyful and painful.
Dance partners come and go, but I am here to stay.
My dance takes forms of blue,
Intertwining with golds and other hues.
Purple Rain to follow.
Mellow Yellow glow of days gone by.
I take this dance, make it my own.
A tune only heard with ears
Made to hear. Life's dance
I choose to follow my way.
Dance to no other, Tunes all my own.
From Island in the Stream, To Walk This Way,
Music grows to influence many.
My dance my own. Sweet music heard with ears
Made to hear. Life's dance, So dear.
Dancing freely with My Way,
to Jagged Little Pill.
So much my choice
Heard with ears made to hear.
I dance life's music,
Tunes aplenty.
Amazing Grace I hope to hear
My last day here.
Oh, the sweet music.
It's my dance!
