My Dearest LaFronzye

By

No words can express the depths of my shaken world,
learning of your flight beyond this life's existence.
How do others continue oblivious, while my mind whirls
knowing the constant of you in mortal climes has ended?

Being kids too young to go against parents' stated rule
we lived apart life's sweetest years, hours and minutes
O my youthful loss at what to do the edict yes so cruel
You're too close see others explore life to its fullest

My love, my heart holds precious every thought of you
with your old love letters I've kept and still I read.
My friend, my love, we will meet again where it is true
we finally can say for us, what is, and what is to be!
