My Dearest, Michael Darwin

Let's be friends,
Let's be lovers
For a very long time
If not
The sky is night,
The stars are bright
We lay side by side,
Sweetly a comfort,
A cyssan of summer,
Upon the glebe
The songs we listen
From Il Grillo Parlante
Let the moon
Reflect its image
Against our
Soft skin faces,
Let your smooth chest,
Exquisitely robust,
Cushion my head
Now gently in repose,
Enclose me with
Those steely arms,
My boud protector,
Lest we close our eyes,
To never wake from
This unforgettable adventure
