My Dream

My dreams are foreign things,
They live in a place where echos whisper into endless space,
Where the walls do not touch and go on forever each way.
Light from two windows shine from a distance,
Time turns their sunny unfamiliarity grey.
They tell me that the past and future do not exist,
And that the present is the flickering shadow of living,
Devoid of any and all meaning.
