My Dream

My dream is not a dream without inspiration
The King gave me this dream
Late into the the darkening desperation
He speaks to me of his dream

In that speech, I too dream
I dream of a time where children knows no loss
Where the aliens alike share no boss
One of which breathes smoke and conjures crying screams

In that speech, I dream of a spark from the ashes
Then it sparks a revolution
Where love is temporary, yet so ever strong
Where children knows of embracing comfort

I too dream…
A naive child that hides within me
Where the King’s dream are esteemed
In which rivers and roads don’t separate the weak

My dream is not without inspiration
For the King told us his dream
Late into the darkening desperation
He told me to speak my dream
