They feel so real.
I embrace you, and for once I feel complete,
But just like real life that's a figment of my imagination,
I think my mind needs some hard calibration.
I wake up like I got hit with a freight train,
Eyes tearing, mind searing with pain.
But I still think about you,
And what could be.
I felt you in my sleep...
I was holding you close to me.
You were making this funny voice just like I want you to be,
Your eyes, glowing with that immortal light I always see,
Skin warm to the touch like the fire in you so deep.
You're everything and more,
You're my goal...
But you're not real,
You're just a dream
