My Dreds Be Like

The artistic clouds against the pale blue sky,
Bring out it's natural touch;
The whistling of wind and the SWirling of leaves,
In my hand I wish I could clutch;
To my heart my dear and darling friend!
To my heart so dear and gay!
Those green, yellow and apricot leaves,
May Autumn's color stay!

Oh stay with me my bosom friend,
Don't leave my sight but stay!
Give squirrels the chance to fetch their nuts,
And chipmunks hide away!
Oh stay with me my bosom friend,
Thou hast left me not!
When winter rolls around the bend,
My soul won't be forgot!

But when Autumn has to choose her leave,
And bones the winter numbs;
By the grace of God with love and joy,
Next year the Autumn comes!
With happy hearts and kind filled minds
We ready for the Spring;
And wait for next year's Autumn,
To see what it may bring!
