My Eyes.

My eyes cannot see the path before me,
Nor can I see the footprints of old,
I'm lost in a world of shadows,
Not knowing which way to turn,

I tell you dear children heed my words,
For if you stray to far or go to the dark,
The path disappears and your every step is lost,
To the world all around you,

You find yourself lost and alone,
Cold and hungry with nothing,
No one to hear you weep,
And no one to save you soul,

So I say dear children heed my words,
For if you become like me,
You surely will be lost and alone,
So alone.
