My fear

We stared through each others eyes,
Yours were still brighter than mine,
Which made me want to cry,
Because I knew you were not fine.

All of the days that I dressed you up,
Plus, the days we had our tea parties,
Filled up my cup,
Of all our memories,
That reality turned into a tragedy.
You continued to sniffle back your tears,
Because you knew,
you would soon be black crumbs,
Which is what we both feared.

As I held you,
I knew all of our memeories,
Would soon be duplicated for two.
Because there would be no more tea parties,
For me nor you

When I heard the news,
My eyes grew tears,
Because all my fears,
Had just come true,
Since all I had left were memories of you.
