My Fear

My eyes burned with tears
This fight was my only fear
My whole head was spinning
I could tell that I wasn't winning

Words really do hurt
She made me feel like dirt
The bystanders would stare
While I was filled with despair

I tried to walk away
Only I didn't know what she was going to say
Instead she pushed me against the wall
As I watched my books fall

Then the bell finally rang
And she hit me with one last clang
She walked away feeling no sorrow
I am hoping she won't do it again tommorow
