My first

When the night was the darkest of black and the stars glistened bright white.
When the wind was quiet as it was calm while the creatures of the night in the deep sang.
When the air was lightly cold yet dry and the grass was sweetly warm yet moist.
When the beauty of contrasts was the epitome and the evil of dark the enchantment.
There I stood at the heart of it all, in awe of what I found never in day.
That was where I breathed my last, that is when I felt my first.
