My Forever

My Forever

At sixteen I saw my forever
I'm no magician, prophet or seer
But I did see my forever
I saw it in those circles of brown
My children and grandchildren appeared
I saw my happiness and his
Those circles of brown
Windows to his soul
I saw my life clinging to his forever
How did I know at sixteen
How did I reliably predict
I did see my future
The doubters were wrong
It was my forever
In those beautiful brown circles
His beautiful brown eyes
