My Greatest Desire

MY GREATEST DESIRE
My greatest wish, the greatest wish for which
my soul yearns for is waiting for the future so
that it can be achieved, but why, why wait.

My spirit still waits because
‘I’ still waits; ‘Myself’ still waits
and ‘Me still waits’.

Do I necessarily need to wait before I start inventing;
Do I necessarily need to wait to start fixing;
Do I necessarily need to wait to start teaching;
Do I necessarily need to wait to start defending;
Do I necessarily need to wait to start thinking big.

My greatest desire cannot wait, it starts now
I have been given the power to decide
the path of my life;
I have to learn to delay gratification
May no chain of inferiority complex hold me.

I will break every chain;
I will shatter every rock that stands on my path;
I will never wait when I can start now to achieve
My greatest desire.

My first step to defeat ‘I’;
My second step to defeat ‘Myself’; and
My third step to defeat ‘Me’
All in all, I must take great risks
For the sake of “My Greatest Desire’
