My Greatest Regret
My thoughts wander back in time as I ponder,
Could I have done something different?
My selfish desires,
What different endings could I’ve conspired
To myself, I was a coldhearted liar.
I want to go back,
Figure out what I had lacked,
Ensure the future’s not painted in blue and black.
But I can’t turn back time.
It is my unforgivable,
Unchangeable,
Unforgettable,
My Greatest Regret.
Could I have done something different?
My selfish desires,
What different endings could I’ve conspired
To myself, I was a coldhearted liar.
I want to go back,
Figure out what I had lacked,
Ensure the future’s not painted in blue and black.
But I can’t turn back time.
It is my unforgivable,
Unchangeable,
Unforgettable,
My Greatest Regret.
