My Guardian Angel

The fight of wonder and show of care
Guilt is murder to this heart in there
A curve in the face made downhill
A sorrowful tear slides down, and feel
It will fall, more may come
No matter the fate, the path is one
It will go down and cannot rise
The pain shall go as with the sigh
Pressure on earth, as of the heavy water at sea
Forced a head down, too scared to see
Lost in darkness so void and unclear
Pain so aching, one begged for death
Tunnel ending, there is always a light
Blind of brightness, amazed at sight
The light, sight, the joy I see
So precious compared to my back that I flee
Run by a train, grab hold to a seat
The joyful ride and the things you meet
The train shall not stop, if your will is to ride
The tunnel comes up, but sit and pass by
Never stop, always go
Look up, there you go
Guardian angel you must be
My favorite thing that I have is thee
No word or thing can take away
My meaning of you to this day

This Poems Story

I was inspired to write this poem as a tribute of the accounts of everyday life for so many people. I have learned that in life, you can overcome anything when you have friends and family who never give up on you. This poem is dedicated to my sister, my parents, and especially Brianna and Lindsey.
