My Happiness

By Sruger

God brought to me an angel to love
And I am forever grateful
But what is Love?
Love is light behind the darkest moment in your life
And her beauty shall always be my light
Her eyes sparkle like the moonlight
Oh how enchanting it is
Her voice more soothing than any lullaby a mother sings to her child
And her lips so gentle to soft can make any man weep
True love may I take your hand and forever hold it in mine
For you have stolen my heart with your extraordinary ways
I promise for my pit core of my humble heart
If we shall ever part
I will travel the distance of the oceans
Climb the highest peak of Everest
Struggle through the heat of the desert
Just to hold you in my arms again
For you are my only happiness
And not even god himself can take that away
