My heart has Felt the Hurts of Many
My heart has felt the hurts of many unheard woes of too many.
My eyes have seen the traces of gloom in the eyes of many.
My ears have captured the suffering in the sounds of so many.
I have let trials stiffen me and nudge me times too many.
Onwards they nudge me and so down the path of life I go.
Though they burden me, heavy-hearted, I continue to go.
Though this world is crowded, with my lonesome heart I go.
Onwards focused eyes push my lonely spirit to go.
Up I climb the ladder of time, breathing the breath of life.
Steps of mine are ordered by God, I see, this way in life.
Steps, falter though they may, I hope would enrich life.
Steps taken with resolve leave imprints in the path of life.
