My Invictus

I control my life
My life I choose to live
I thank whatever gods may be
But these are my memories to give.

To view the world the way I choose.
My choices are mine to make.
For when death calls, I own my falls
Cause I knew what was at stake.

My fate is mine and mine alone
The future unknown to me
My accomplishments and failures
Define me like debris.

It matters not the consequences
For nay the strictness I shall flee
I control my fate
Not my fate have control of me.
