My Invisible Cage

We say "Freedom is life",
But thats not in my case,
As I'm bound to be sold,
Only to the man who is old.
Look as I tell you I'm sixteen,
As he only wants to have teen,
But what can I say,
As I don't have a way.
Look as I'm dressed in red,
With my face all caked,
As I look in the mirror,
I found myself a little more ager.
Now I'm in the room,
Prepairing for my only groom,
But I look outside the window,
Only to find a bird widow.
She sings her last song,
Like it means her nothing,
But her voice is a call,
To my dreams that once had fall.
Now I with my locks move,
Only to match his groove,
But now I have hope,
Of my invisible cage not being so lame.
