My knight

I lie in my bed
and think to myself
"What's more to be said
Than harming yourself"

Why lose sleep
For what I already know
I am the black sheep
With no distance to go

I'm awake all night
Shivering cold
With tears in my eyes
Into a ball I fold

"We could care less
What its about
Its all in your head"
They proclaim and they shout

Misery and darkness
They come to me
"Tell them good riddance"
But why can't they see

With each sentence and statement
They only make it harder
I'm filled with resentment
Towards my mother and father

Behold, in my darkest hour
Not a superhero nor a knight
But a man, with abnormal armour
My demons, for me, he will fight
