My life as a kid

The morning rises with the sun
I drink tea with a honey bun
The city bus comes in slow motion
Why is there so much commotion?
Classes begin and the day starts

Lunch flies by after the class of arts
Everybody hears the last period bell ring
Finally, they stopped whining!

In a hurry, I take out my phone
A sudden flash of sun creates a new tone

I eat and lay down exhausted from school
I feel like I'm a car without fuel
After some rest, I get up again
Acting like I'm superman

I do my homework to play outside
I wished to go for a swing ride
The days are long, so I could stay
Come on, let's go, we don't have to pay
