My Little Blue House


I hide in the corner of my little blue house
The corner that had become my armor, my shelter, my shield
My little blue house shakes from under me
I can feel the earth shatter from beneath me
The echoes of tiny toes I can hear no more
Bang, bang my little blue house beats
The drums taunt me with every beat
I scream, I scream
Stop the noise, I beg and plead
Silence I seek
The drums beat louder and louder
My body goes frantic as I slide
from the corner of my little blue house
Boom, boom
I hear no more
Silence, I hear no more
Boom, silence shatters the windows of my little blue house
Boom, silence takes the darkness in
Into to the soul of my little blue house
I hide in the corner of my little blue house
I hide...
