My Little Lady Bug

I will read you a story, and tuck you in tight.
Say a little prayer, and kiss you goodnight.
With a lady bug hug, and a butterfly kiss;
You drift off to dream a dream full of bliss.
At night I watch you as you silently sleep.
Then carefully out of your room I creep.
But all through the night I will continue to peek;
Brushing back your hair, and kissing your cheek.
You are my greatest love;
A blessing sent to me from the heaven's above.
And as I watch you laying there all warm, and snug;
I whisper "I love you; my little lady bug".
