My Love and I

In the twilight of the evening,
In the autumn of our life,
Standing there together,
Me and my faithful wife.

Then, all at once it happened,
A glory to behold,
The sky was filled with stardust,
The sky was painted gold.

Hand in hand we stood there
Awed by the magic scene,
Recalling life together,
The sight was just serene.
