My Love Remains

Come what may, my love remains.
The sun may burst, the skies turn grey.
The stars cursed, the mountains sway.
The winds stand still, the seas run dry.
No more free will, the forest die.
Heaven is gone and God is dead.
Peace has torn and War's ahead.
The desert sands are washed away,
Time and space await decay.
My life may dim today, while parting quietly in pain
But the truth will not betray what my soul retains:
Come what may, my love remains.
