My Lovely Mother

Most think of superman or ironman
When they hear the word hero, but for me
The one that stood by me the best she can
And that never let out a cry or plea
Is all the hero I will ever need
Without a father, she took on two roles
In the play of life, she became the lead
Letting her two kids patch work her hearts holes
While giving the care they need to live life
Praying to the God that still gives her hope
Asking for whom she will make a good wife
Until then, her life is a rising slope
I would never change you for another
Simply because you're my lovely mother
