My Love's Simile Sonnet
In my mind, an orchestra playing a symphony,
your gentle warm body is lying next to me.
Your smile shining, gleaming so bright,
jeweled stars, that light up the night.
The first touch of those cold, ticklish feet,
I savor as a Milky Way bar, so sweet.
Those brown eyes, full of so many wishes,
an endless indulgence of Hershey kisses.
When I taste those kisses you've saved for me,
my body feels a thousand volts of electricity.
The sheer enjoyment of our slow embrace,
is ecstasy, enjoyed at a slow snail pace.
Forever, as the rolling of the oceans tide,
together, always, our love will be, side by side.
These similes can't compare to our love true,
it all comes down to simply, I love you!
your gentle warm body is lying next to me.
