My Opinion of 2020

By

In the year 2020 came COVID-19
Isolation & frustration a thing now
No congregation allowed and face masks are worn by all
Churches & bars now closed by law
Grandkids can’t visit safely, WOW
I’m a grandma, over 60, with COPD
Shouldn’t us visiting, be up to me
We go shopping & get what we can
Face mask don’t protect totally
& social distancing can’t always be
Strange people everywhere, it just makes no sense to me
Isn’t this a form of segregating
Slowing the spread of COVID-19
Gives time to find cures for this horrible thing
I think they want to divide us all
Unite us together so we don’t fall
Open the churches & open bars
No more mask or 6 feet apart
Time for kids to get back in school
Remember work used to be cool
God gave free will so let us choose
Our freedoms we must never lose
