My Own Corona Virus Story

By

Lockdown begins... Everyone running around in fright
Intimidation reigns - We were all masked and alone
My first trip to the Winn-Dixie market, unforgettable
Who could have touched this basket?
Grabbing items from the shelves - a brain shock
Who could have touched this box before me?
The cash register - a mighty challenge
My items on the belt, contaminated or not?
Sanitize your hands quickly - constant thoughts
arrive home, wash everything even your clothes!
Totally ridiculous! This is a nightmare! Stress!
Then I was home. A moment of Epiphany happened
I need to trust my Creator - My Father in Heaven!
Stress alone will kill me long before the virus
Lesson learned! He is in Control!
My Peace I give you, He says and not as the world
Trials, obstacles and challenges may come and go
Yet remember, He is everlasting and his word true
My decision was solid! I will trust him with everything!
