My Philosophy of Life

We are all a type of flower
Unique in our own way, shape, size, even color
We start out as seeds
We land somewhere, take root, then start to grow
Some of us are taken out early
Simply picked by small children or chopped down by lawnmowers
Others grow up, wilt, and die off naturally
Me, I'm a dandelion
Seen as a flower by some and a weed by others
But I'm virtually indestructible

This Poems Story

I live in Cambridge, OH. My hobbies are writing, reading, artwork, and caring for my three-year-old Chihuahua, Taco. I got the inspiration to write this poem from things I've witnessed and experienced over the past six years while living here on Yorkshire Drive.
