My Poem to You

By

I dedicate this poem to you,
Like how singers dedicate songs to their loved ones.
But since I'm no singer,
Just a writer,
I dedicate this poem to you.
Like the lullabies that they sing
But since I have no sweet voice, just soothing words
I dedicate this poem to you.
Like those love songs on the billboard,
But since you stopped making me feel loved,
Just heartburns,
I dedicate this poem to you.
But the theme stopped being love, now heartbreak
Like how my heart broke when you walked away
I dedicate this pain to you,
And like a poem with missing words,
I bring the pieces left to you.

And since I'm no singer, just a writer,
I have no melody,
So I hope my heart crumbling with every line
sound beautiful to you.
Here's my poem to you,
And just like I dedicate my whole life into loving you
I dedicate this whole poem to hurting you.
I dedicate this pain to you.
