My Promise

starting off with wings that can fly,
intoxicated by beauty no lie,
to see you captivated me each day,
your compassion would make me stay,
why is this feeling only temporary,
the hurt of you being a memory,
two parts of love such a whole,
Your touch in bedded in my soul,
Where can I find such a friend,
why does destiny and fate make a bitter end,
how they intertwined to make such a disaster,
the river of destiny I must learn to master,
to change her course of life and her fate,
a change in me I must learn to make,
I will transcend this hollow shell,
forget myself and sell my soul to hell,
A exchange of souls it must take,
to change the course of destiny and fate,
So the winds of change brush on my face,
without her heaven wouldn't be a place,
