My Reality

Today I found a piece of me
Forgotten from the past.
Thought twas lost forever
Through life gone by so fast.

I stood before you, stripped and bare.
I laughed with you, spirit free.
Twas not my body, but my soul,
Naked for you to see.

You held me in your arms so tight,
And I could feel your heart.
You glorified by very sight,
And as daylight came, we had to part.

Now I sit here in my reality
Clothed again in darkened lies.
Turned back into their familiar me.
But I remember, you touched me with your eyes.
