My Ride Of Lessons
Trotting, trotting as my hands grip the rains
Swiftly cantering, cantering, as I hold in the yelp.
Waiting, waiting for the next second.
Waiting for it all to be over.
Then I find myself galloping.
As I listen to the rhythm, the sound of drums in my head.
Screaming screaming for life not to let go.
The rains, drifting, drifting out of my hands.
Sliding, sliding off the horse.
Fading, life is fading.
It happened, with a thump I was thrown off.
The huff on my finger.
Pain, more pain
