My Secret Place

There was a big Oak Tree once, high upon a hill.
And as a child I played there, my thoughts return there still.
Here was the Kingdom Castle, or the Army Fort.
Here's where the western plains were, or his majesty's court.

Oh what happy days those were, with friends so very true.
No limitations to our dreams, we did whatever we wanted to.
If only I could go there again, just go back once more,
An ideal world I'd wish for, truth and trust I would restore.

If we could go there again, to that secret space
Again the world could be young, and be a better place.
